Hi,

Thank you for making this; The instructions work out of the box, but one small snag I noticed.
When you name /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/bond0 ifup will work, but it doesn’t seem to come up with the init.d wrapper for network.

I didn’t have time to fully debug this at the console yesterday, but thought you would like a heads-up.
If you rename the file to /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-bond0 it works flawlessly even when restarting

+1 to that. It’s bitten me too. I copy and paste this code frequently, and frequently find myself scratching my head. It’s really not that hard to update a blog, I’m just that lazy. Thanks though for pointing it out and it’s now fixed.

Great great post, would just like to add the fact that on ifcfg-virbr100, bridge must be with capital "B". Otherwise, you may hit the following error when starting the Network service: Device virbrXX does not seem to be present, delaying initialization
